BRCM are hosting the third anual Warbirds Over The Bay Scale event at their Bayview Park, King Road, flying site on the week end of July 21st and 22nd, ALWAYS the second last weekend of July. This prestigious event is for scale model Military aircraft of any era and type, Fighters, Bombers, Transports, Military trainers etc.
Flying will be from 10.00am untill dusk both days. The field boasts a 300x30ft paved runway surrounded by well maintained grass if you prefer a softer landing strip. Noise restrictions are in effect ( 85db @ 7meters ) On site camping ( no services ) from Friday am to Monday am or there are many Motels/Hotels within 15 minutes of the field.. Food service and washrooms plus a club hut with electrical power.
Pilot prizes, Raffles and 50/50 all week end. There will be Vendors on site plus Skycraft hobbies just a ten minute drive from the field.
Registration: $10.00 before, $15.00 on the date.
Valid MAAC/AMA required.
