Milliamp Hour - This is a measure of a battery's total capacity. The larger the number of milliamp hours, the more the battery can store. Batteries for today's electric aircraft range from 600 mAh for small park flyers to 8,000 mAh for 3D electric helicopters. Cars typically run 3,300 mAh packs. Do not confuse milliamps with volts!

The Main are the feature races at an event. Racers run qualifiers or heats to decide which main they qualifiers.

Top qualifiers will be in the A-main, next best will be in the B-main, and so on in each class.

Winners of the Mains will be considered winners of the event.

Metacenter
As the ship is inclined through small angles of heel, the lines of buoyant force intersect at a point called the metacenter.

As the ship is inclined, the center of buoyancy moves in an arc as it continues to seek the geometric center of the underwater hull body. This arc describes the metacentric radius.

A term coined at the FSA club in Laurel, MD. Mixing bowls are large bowl-like depressions in the ground in which winds swirl around unpredictably, creating downdrafts and strong wind currents in random directions. Commonly blamed for dumb thumb-induced crashes and other aircraft fatalities
