Getting your heli's rotor speed right is key to a well performing helicopter. On a scale ship, one generally wants a lower rotor RPM (for appearance and performance). On 3D helis, a higher rotor speed is needed. Across the board, higher main rotor RPM is needed at higher altitudes.
