Comments: Seller listed item as "Brand new, never flown. Servos, retracts, receiver, manual, and extra parts included. Add motor, finalize things and fly." Plane arrived with extensive damage to wings and a prior repair to the airframe. The airplane was NOT NEW or even close to NEW. I attempted to resolve this with seller via email before rating him. His reply was to take it up with the shipper. I told him that was not good enough for listing a damaged airplane as new and not being honest in his listing. I gave him 2 days to respond before rating him. Seller never responed. His listing was dishonest and his lack of response when questioned about it further shows just what type of guy this is. I would have never gone public with a poor rating if he would have stepped up and stated he was not honest in his listing and the plane had prior damage. We cannot let people get away with these types of listing on RCU. My feedback is perfect. I paid promptly and held my end of he deal. I was just mislead by a dishonest person.
Rebuttal: Truth is the plane was new, never flown. It is obvious in that the servos, retracts, and linkages had never even been finalized for flying. I guess he was expecting a new in-the-box plane, which it never was advertised, in fact since the tail section had already been glued on etc. it was not in original box. Maybe was planning to turn it for a profit, I've seen dealers do this in the past. If the plane was damaged in shipping, sorry, but the seller is not responsible for that; that is why we insure them through the shipper. I did response contrary to what he is saying, and told the buyer that shipping damage must be taken up with the shipper; again this is why we buy insurance.

Comments: Do not buy from this guy he will rip you off he sold me the plane with no engine then told me I said I did not want the engine why would I buy a RTF plane with no engine. Now he has blocked me from contacting him I called his cell phone and he hung up on me ROBERT BAILEY IS A LOSER! Robert Bailey better be glad he is so far from me or he would get a visit from me in person! I have never had such a poor transaction on RCU I would never treat someone this way and I do not like to be treated like this WHAT IS YOUR MALFUNCTION?? Rebuttal: Unfortunately he is not speaking the truth. I did not tell him he didn't want the engine; I told him I mistook him for another member who said he did not need the engine, so I removed it prior to shipping and sold the engine seperately for $20. I offered to refund him this amount, but he refused. I blocked him from my account because I do not wish to deal with people who are only interested in false accusations, and inflammatory, degrading remarks. The main problem is that from the outset the buyer was totally rude and accusatory, and was not interested in discussing the situation in a reasonable manner. I even offered to refund the full amount if he returned the plane, but he continued his rant calling me "stupid". You can probably tell from his notes what I am talking about.
