I bought the Hangar 9 Cub ARF because it had the best scale appearance of any that I have investigated. I wanted to power this with and electric motor and chose the following setup:
Motor: AXI 4120/18
ESC: Phoenix 60
Battery: Tanic 5S1p 5000 mah
Prop: Zinger 13X10 wood
Watts: 845
Amps: 42
Flying Weight: 8 lbs, 8 oz.
I was not disappointed. This model is beautiful and flies very scale-like. In fact, it's a bit overpowered, but that's ok. Hangar 9 has done a superb job with this one. |
