It's been a while...

Not too much to report, sorry!

I finally got my wing kit in from Jack Devine to finish my big FW 190 A8. Just waiting for the wood to show up to finish it off...

Been flying the heck out of my Super Cub. Doinked it up rather good the other week by getting caught in a wind draft. Foam planes + wind == bad...

Once again, not much to report

The Fibreclassics FW 190 is underway. The wing halves are joined, and the wing hold down block in. I'm still working on some of the finer details of this kit. Honestly, its rather impressive. The deatiling on the fuse is very nice and almost right on the money...

I just hope I can build it up nice. Trying to figure out how to glue the fuse formers in place hasn't been all that fun!

Kadet done..

Well the Kadet is done. Finished it up last night. I still need to finish up one 90 degree bend in the control rod, but thats about it. The battery came in from Tower today, need to refit the battery connection with the proper connector.

Started working on the Fiberclassic FW 190. Its a full foam wing (4 pieces), fibreglass fuse, with a bunch of high densitiy plastic formed parts.

I got too many planes! (just kidding, one can never have enough planes)...

SIG Kadet EP

So I've been spending my time on another BARF. Can't help myself. All my big planes are months if not years to build, and I need to get my flying skills up for this seasons tourneys. So I've been flying that foam SuperCub for a bit, I love it. Charge it, fly it... repeat. Flies well if there is no wind, and not so good if there is wind... but hey what can you ask for for $159.00...

The SIG Kadet EP is my "all weather" BARF. Just about finished up on it now. Need to install the gear, run the push rods and hook up my lectrics. All servo's are mounted just need to put on the arms and such...

All in all, I'm happy.
