Default Another Skydrill takes to the skies!

It only took me 11 months to get it done, but this Skydrill now has had its first three flights.

ZFW is 13.3 Oz

1.5 Oz fuel tank....it just keeps on going and going.

Stock Cox .049 SS for power.

I have not had much of a chance to explore the envelope due to poor WX. Good fun though...the fastest slow plane I have ever flown.

The canopy came with the kit...along with a bunch of other goodies. If you do not have one, get one at select hobbies!

Well done, Dave. Though mine is getting a little worn, it is still one of my favorite flyers. Have fun with it.

Cool Dave, I had one on the build table for a year or so, lost all RC interest and somehow it ended up on the deck...balsa does NOT hold up well under outdoor conditions!...I have a couple of little planes ready to go except for my radio problem, I could get 2 going right now but thats all...Rog

Congratulations Dave !! Nice looking plane.

I couldn´t be happier with mine. Very fast with a TD .049 but light enough to glide without any bad habit.

I made my canopy with a balsa plug and PET from a 2 liter soft drink bottle.

Enjoy your plane !
