Default head to head

I decided to get my Profi flying and compare it to the Picco I built. Both mounted on the same type of model.
The thing even hand started. Easy fueling process. Blast to fly. Now I want to mount a plane to my Cyclon so I can take the three flying same day.

I have a few of those Driskill combat props with the CF tow down the center, forget the specs right now. They pull like a mule but are noticably slower in the the air than a 4.2 x 4. Exactly what you would expect from a combat prop. I bet they don't slow down in the turns much.

I ran 4.6x2.8 props,my favorite. The apc doesn't come out of turns well and I break em too easy. Idont think I wanna go faster. These birds fly over 100mph as is. When we used to race these, the apc just didn't cut it.

Gotcha. The APC outruns the combat props in a straight line is all I know, which is no surprise. But as to pylon turns, I don't race, just sport fly. I haven't tracked my .061 sport racer yet, but it is stupid fast for a 1/2A size model.

The Profi is an .049, the Picco is stroked to .057 (custom 8mm crank and brg)
I put the pressure nipple there so I don't have to join two slimmey tubes with a brass joiner. (kinda hard with chub fingers) Very convenient placement for ease of operation is all.
