Almost, Renegade. I though that too at first because i've seen them and have one to build in the box. It's not though because the Lil Toot has a plank profile. This one is carved out, a hollow log fuselage that tells me its a berkeley models or a mussciano kit. It's really nice whoever made it. What a great little plane. Very few .020 kits were put out. Sad for the PeeWee.

Hey guys,
I don't know why sorting through old plans is so intriguing to me but I found myself up until the wee hours last night (morning) looking through the Flying Model plans Catalogue. I just posted this file elsewhere but thought it might be helpful here, too. I believe I have stumbled upon the same effect to guys that equates to women and their shoes - you just can't have enough planes. They don't even have to be completed, you just gotta have them(!)

Howdy All - keep this thread alive!
Also rediscovering 1/2A - electrics were the gateway. I just grew up and learned to bring windex and towels with me to take home clean planes. I guess we're like salmon, they get imprinted with the stream they hatched in and we return to the whiney whiz of the 1/2A. Electrics are OK but we need our fix on the sweet smell of nitro.
Downloaded a few plans - pacer, mach none, shrike. However, I am on a path to build a Cessna Skymaster.
broke out the old engines and on a binge of used ones here, RCGroups, eBay, and Craigslist.
Having a great summer rediscovering!

1/2a Shoestring
I was just given this model in original packaging with the original kit instructions Way awesome to see this was a 70's era plane! even came with instruction corrections. I'm almost afraid to touch the paper lol!
