Google Lazer-Works. They are located in Whichita Falls, Texas. Eddie is the owner and he will cut you a short kit for anything you want. I sent him the plans for the Lady Bug and he is cutting me three kits!

Skypilot,

What a beautiful job you did on those Bee's! Is that transparent MonoKote or some other covering? What did the AUW finally end up being? What size 11.4V CommonSense R/C battery are you using and what kind of flight times are you getting? I assume these planes have flown by now. How were the flights? Inquiring minds want to know!

Absolutely superb work! Im mad with envy!

I'm confused! These look like Lady Bugs. I thought the micro bees had a solid fuslage?

Since you sent him the plans will he be offering the kits on his web site now?

Thanks Brian...

The covering is Transparent Ultracote

- AUW: 7 3/4oz

- 11.1V 500mAh Common Sense LiPo

We haven't been able to fly them yet![&o]

There has been so much rain here sense I got them finished and with only 3 days of real Sun Shine in the past 3 weeks the field just became Mud.

This Tuesday looks to a real nice Sunny dry day so I think we are going to head out then.

Going to try, if I can figure out how to make this camera work, get some video of them in the air.

well, i finished up my 'bug', built it from a short laser cut kit i got on ebay several months ago. built with the 3 rib wing,18'' span, trans green w/white scallops.
welgard c/20?
6x3gws
9a thunder bird
bms 306 servos
#3 trexlers(i think,lost the box)
hex 460 2s lipo
auw@ 5.6oz(i cant believe it came out that light, only my third kit)
i put about 8 flights on it over the weekend, its a great bee, it handles just like the 40'',fast barrel rolls, short loops, wont fly inverted for the life of me, it harriers well, it can high alfa hover but straight up it will start to tail slide fast.
its funny when you hand launch it, you throw it and it has to slow down to its flying speed
i get about 10-15mins per flight depending on throttle use. i'm having a blast with this little guy, just hoping the wind will work with us for the summer- it can handle a pretty good breeze but thats about it.
i'll try to post some pics later on this week.
back to recovering my 40'' bee, and the new addition the 'free bee' epp 40'' bee arf

In flight pics...

On the Trans Yellow Bee, had to add 1/2oz weight in the nose to get it to "balance" out right and had to add (1) #4 washer under the top and left motor mounting lug of both planes to get the down/right thrust line correct.

Other than these minor adjustments they fly fantastic.

Getting about 12 minutes on the 11.1V 500mAh Common Sense LiPo - lots of power too!

Enjoy!
