Default Gonna build another... you guessed it. Laumer design.

I'm going to start building another Laumer FF design as RC for my wife in the next couple of weeks. I was going to build her a Black Sheep monoplane, but she saw this little cutie and fell in love with it. I'll be scaling it up and powering it with a brushless, so should I do the build thread here or in scratch building? It's not really 1/2A, but there are probably more scratch builders in this forum.

Bipe, build it here, just retouch the photos to make it look like an .074.

How could there be more scratch builders here than at the scratch builder's forum? When you put it that way......man, those guys need to ante up!

I know it is not the Zoomerang he has all ready built one. Looks real good. I have been trying to get him to retire it into my truck. But so far no luck.

Did laumer design the aeromaster? I'd like to have plans for one of those in a small size!

Lulla-Bi is a real sweetie. Looking forward to seeing it in the air.

The Aeromaster would have been by Lou Andrews of AAMCO most likely!

Dave,

Speaking of Laumer designs: Are you ever going to release the rest of your "Super Secret" stash of Laumer designs on to your site??

yes, that it, Lou Andrews. Hed did a control line plane that Iliked too, just don't remember the name of it. I think the name Laumer, and the mention of bipe confused me. Thanks. Now, just to find a set of plans and shrink them. I'd like a .15 size. Iused to have a plan for a .10 size "chigger" Bipethat came full size in RCM, but I can't find it. I think it used the airfoil and tail section copied from a CG design.

I think the only one I have that I have not posted yet is the G-Wing.
This one has an OS .10 LA in it. It is enlarged from published size.

The G-Wing is a real cutie, Dave.  Laumer really had a knack for making chunky look good.

I have an original AAMCO kit downstairs, one wing framed up so far. Winter project. Love the airplane. Buddy has one (he had TWO kits, gave me one.. what are friends for) with a Kraft .61 and it's been flying for about two decades, whenever we head out he makes me test fly it if anything might need checking. Always happy to volunteer for a flight or three.
