Default 1/16 traxxas mustang boss 302

have you guys seen this new car traxxas has up?

http://traxxas.com/products/models/e...boss302mustang

comes as usual with brushed and brushless versions.

i'm not an on-road type of guy but i'm considering getting this solely because it has the mustang body on top

I haven't seen one in person, yet; I'm waiting for Hobbytown Fresno to stock one. It caught my eye also because the chassis is very similar to the mini Slash and Revo with the inboard shocks and the location of the transmission. To me, this means Rally-car potential. Although I suppose you would just get the 1/16 Traxxas Rally in the first place.

I appears to still have accomodations for a second steering servo in the front, just like the trucks. Not that a TC would need one, but that's more evidence to suggest that it shares the foundation with the mini Slash/Revo. So far, brushless is $299 and brushed is $209at Tower Hobbies. I'm sure you can save a few bucks at Stormer or AMain.

Did you get the memo that Hobbytown is moving from Bullard to Blackstone/Barstow next to FoodMaxx and the old Freedom Rider motorcycle shop? Do you make it into Fresno for RC gear or do you order most of it online?

For me they're kind of hit and miss. I try to pickup what I can from them since they're the only shop in town anymore, however, since I signed up for the Tower membership I make most of my purchases with them.

i havn't ever even been to the one in fresno

but i have good news for you. there is going to be a track in visalia prob next month. both an on-road and off-road track, woot woot no more driving all the way to baker for a track!

if you want an on road car, you're probably better off buying an on road car

this is just a lowered E-revo with little tires

No Joke? I didn't realize Visalia had a shop. There is a track in Madera but it favors Nitro and 1/8 cars. It would be fun to get on a track again. How can Ifind more info? What's the name of the shop?

the shop is called visalia hobbies, if they don't have it they will gladly order it for you and get it asap

the track is being built by tcrc, their website is tularecountyrc.com. from what i've heard they got the city to let them use the land after they did a demo show and showed that they can get kids interested in the hobby and give them something to do.
