Brushed e-revo, is my engine dead, again?
Hi People,
I have the brushed e-revo and had lots of fun with it over the last 6 months.
A while ago my engine died and was replaced by the local hobby store, I was told it had water damage and died.
They also cleaned and did soemo general maintainance on the car.
I tool it out with the new engine to the park and it was fantastic, driving like new! I manage to do one battery, half way through the second the car bumpes into a tree (not a big crash) and stops driving. the servo turns the wheels (steering) but teh car won't move forward or back... in fact even if you push the car the wheels are locked and won't roll...
Any ideas what this could be?
Many thanks,

ORIGINAL: Ttam Says Blarg
Possibly the motor do you still have the stock titan? If so get something else cause the motor sucks.

Im not sure but if the servo, esc and the battery are still working then its a good chance its your motor gone bad. Everyone including myself has had a titan burn up on them. They are just not good motors. Upgrade to brushless. If you cant afford it save up and thank me later lol jk. Dont keep wasting money on titans.

Can I go brushless without replacing the ESC?
I live in the UK and the cost of the Traxxas brushless kit (motor + ESC) is £160(!) like i paid for the whole car! I shoudl have gotten the VXL model from the start...
Are there otehr brands which are cheaper to use tha traxxas own veliion engines? I'm sick of replacing the brushed motor all the time...
Thanks!
