battery pack for rc18t
Which battery pack should I get for rc18t? I was thinking of thunderpower 2100mah 3s, but would 2s 1300 be enough? I think I will get mamba 6800kv or 5400kv. I want a lipo with good runtimes and no mods needed.

RE: battery pack for rc18t
It's really preference , BUT there's a huge difference in a 3s with 6800 vs. a 2s with 5400. The recipe for long runtime is this:
a 2s x 2100 with the 5400 (I stuck with your specs since I know nothing about specifics for this vehicle. (you may be able to go higher capacity and lower kv for longer run-time)
a 2s x 2100 with the 5400 (I stuck with your specs since I know nothing about specifics for this vehicle. (you may be able to go higher capacity and lower kv for longer run-time)

RE: battery pack for rc18t
Get the 5400Kv motor.
On batteries, look for a higher "C" rating - most of that size battery will come in 20C. If you can find one higher (say, 25C or 30C) You will get better performance.
For longer run times, go with the higher capacity batteries, like the 2200 will run longer than say, an 1800.
I say to go 5400Kv, because if you decide to go 3S, that combo will rip the wheels off the 18T. Going to say, a higher Kv will only make the car uncontrollable, and not much fun (there is a limit to how fast it willl go, before it begins destroying parts).
It's either more power, or more run time. To try for both will only make you unnecessarily spend more money and the18T is the loser, ultimately.
The 5400KV Mamba or Sidewinder combo will work well for you on 2S, just look for a higher "C" rating or higher capacity (like the 2200). That way, if you decide to get another Associated (the SC18 is a very nice SC truck, Ihave one, and it runs the 5400Kv w/ Sidewinder Sport ESC), you will have a battery that will run it the way you want.
Trying to make it ballistic will only make the 18T more fragile, and will not give you a good impression of Associated cars, if you break something by using components it wasn't rated for.
