Default Merv center drive shaft?

Hello everyone, so before purchasing the Traxxas cvd kit for my merv, I was wondering if I also need Integy aluminum the center drive shaft? Or the CVD is good enough to handle 3s alone since I just popped a little pin in the yoke today. Cvd + stock center drive shaft = ok?

lol, I think I have one of those 'bullet proof' mini revo where I ran dual 3s in the 90s degree weather and not a single problem, but I just one to make sure what to buy before I blow up the entire differential
