i got the plugs i needed soldered, so the Micro SCT is up and running finally. i ran it for about 5 minutes with the new lipo, and man! its like a totally different car! much more power all around. here's a pic of the batteries i got (got 3 of 'em):
hey how did you go about soldering on the jst plugs? did you just buy one with the wire already on it, or did your directly solder them to the esc?

they came like this. i soldered them onto my ESC wires.
ah okay thanks. i assume you soldered the open one (female?) to the esc?

yes, even though this is usually backwards. for some reason the batteries came soldered with male plugs (usually come with female), so i put the female on the ESC.

okay thanks. yeah it gets weird when you get into the micro scale...my plane batteries have male plugs whereas the plane itself has female. oh and i asked about the jst plug because i may purchase the brushless micro sct, brushless micro rally, or trail trekker over the summer when i get enough money.

Thanks for the notification. If anyone is wanting them, buy 'em now! At least temporarily I'm gonna be laying off on RC though. Too busy with too much crap. Dang it.

Dang, your buying as much stuff as I have been lately! Let me know how you like the BL system, it's up next on my list of things to buy. I also ordered a undated thermometer the other day. Should give me dome hard data to put into my reviews and should be very helpful. Everything should be here Monday.

i don't think there are any that are going to fit into the stock battery compartment. you can probably get it to fit under the body like i did with my 2s lipo, but it would be a very snug fit. but, yes, the BL ESC is capable of running 3s and i'm sure you could fit it somewhere.

Yeah bud, I just jamed it in there. I need to change the connector oneday & shotren the wires for eayser fitment.

It fits in there stock.... It did take a few goes to work out how to get the wires all coiled up so they would fit.

Oh PS with the smallest pinion on 7.4v it seems fine. i havent melted that one off the motor.... but with the bigger pinion damm she got hot
