Another Rookie question. What does the xs do when it hits the battery cutoff? Does it beep or make any noise nor just stop? This is my first LIPO experience and I don’t want to ruin the batteries first run.

On Another note, the trucks are finally back from California. Both are running, the one slipper is way too loose but fixable. They gave me 2 sets for rims and tires for the trucks for my “problems”. I like the look of the originals better though. They did leave the pin out of the steering. I had to jimmy a pin to keep the steering straight and I have to order the right part so the steering is nice and tight.

Can’t wait to get to the track this week and give them a proper run.

Once it hits the LVC the truck will slow down to a crawl or just stop..
The SS is still in transit.....Yesterday I connect the mamba max pro to the notebook....I can set the LVC...how many volts are recomended? The factory default setting is OK (3.2 volts)?

BTW...yesterday I went with a frind to bash his XS.....I will upload the video in the afternoon....its a 22 meters jump...hahahaha...

I would set it to Auto-lipo with the cutoff at 3.4v

I used traxxas RPM ones as well and the hole where you screw it on the shock shaft was way too big. i had to send them back and get the HPI shock parts set. hopefully it will be here next week.

Hi guys,
Savage xs and mini e-revo, which one is better to do flipping?
Who have them both could provide a side by side picture?
Thanx!

Here is a pic of the Savage XS next to a Mini Revo.

What do you mean by better flipping? I have owned both the Mini Revo and Savage XS and sold the Mini Revo because it couldn't handle what the XS can do.

The Flux xs will outlive the revo anyday. it was built with the same full size savage features... DURABILITY! In my opinion, the revo isn't worth the price tag. its not enough truck for how much it costs. Just get the flux xs man. it will out perform the revo anyday. even on the track if set up right.

After 7 months of hard bashing the steering servo in my son's XS finally died. What a pain in the ass it was to get the servo plug into the receiver box.

heck yea its a pain in the ass! its that stpid rubber piece that prevents any wires from going out or going in. i took the rubber thing out when i replaced the stockservo and holy cow i almost just left the thing out it was so hard to get back on the reciever box. i never run mine thru water so i probably could have, but then the wires would slowly start to come out.

Has anyone found a fix for the center drive cups? mine are starting to show wear from the pins in them, almost like dents. im assuming its from the torque when the pins aren't seated on the sides of the cups. and how much play is there supposed to be? i checked mine last night and it seems as if they have about 1/4" of movement back and forth. they wont come out but...

You can replace them with hot racing hardened cups I have been running those for about 25 packs and no wear on them at all.

You can get them at liquidrc.

Normally no but I've been waiting three weeks for a bolt for my wheelie bar. Moving the wires in and out of the box is a pain. Not for me anymore, I removed the waterproof boot.

I picked up a slightly used losi 8t2e this weekend and have been playing with that. I put the Qbase/alphastar 2350 in it.

Did anyone have problems getting into RCU forums the past few days?

Look good. Which bug body do you have on the HP?

The bug body is the Proline 3238-60 for the 3.3 T-Maxx. I think the the next time I have to remove the servo's in either one of the XS's I will also remove that rub seal.

I have had issues when clicking the link in my emails for the XS thread. It will throw an error message.

ok so i ran the savage this thing is effing retarded on 3s its like a totally different rc than the 2s runs but this thing needs heat sinks and a fan fur sure it was thermally shutting down every tens mins cause of the motor getting so warm and im thinking i may need to put a taller pinion gear in for less heat

I run the timing low and punch at 70% on 3s and it never overheats.
