Default How hot is too hot for a bl motor

I would like to know, as some of mine are running hot. The performance is still good, and on some of my models gearing is limited.

A temperature is what I'm looking for, I use a temp gun so please no responses that don't include a numerical temperature.

Please no touchy feely stuff
Please include source

180*F Its Tekin specific but the principle should be the same or nearly the same for everything else too.

A6. We do not recommend running the Tekin Redline motors over 180 degrees(f). Optimal motor performance is found between 125-160.

Thanks a lot, nice response. Now outside I go!

Running about 200F. Still seems good on power though
