MINI-Z AWD MA-030EVO Chassis - Trueno AE86 Body
Getting back into this awesome hobby. Started out building a Tamiya TT-01 Porsche RSR with my nephew and ended up buying a ton of Miini-Zs!
I'm struggling trying to find any info on whether or not you can get the AWD EVO chassis to work with most of the "cool" AWD bodies which have a 90mm wheelbase. It seems almost all of the traditional drift bodies are 90mm but the AWD chassis set is 94/98mm! I want to keep using my same transmitter (7PXR) but I want that sweet Trueno body.
Is there any way to get that AWD EVO chassis down to 90mm? I'd hate to have to get another Readyset just to get the body I want. I have so many transmitters with all of these minis!
Thanks for any and all help.

Turns out I was able to answer my own question after coming across a YouTube video...
You can make the AWD EVO chassis 90mm and run some 90mm bodies, including the various AE86 Trueno bodies. However you can only run it in FWD only. You need to remove the rear diff to make the adjustment. So its a no go for me. The whole idea was to be able to run an AWD chassis with my Futaba transmitter...not a FWD. Hope this helps someone out there...
