Best 1/18 SC RTR?
Hey everyone,
I recently drowned all the electronics in my Losi XXXT. I've decided to postpone repairs until winter, and just buy a new 1/18 like I've been considering for a while. I'm not set on 1/18, but it seems to be the best bang for my buck (price range ~200). I think I want a short course. I like the Team Associated sc18 but I read a review saying it struggled in soft ground. My main track is soft, so I don't think that'll work. I also looked at the DuraTrax Vendetta sc, but I'm a fan of brushless, and a review of it said it's gears won't handle an aftermarket brushless. So what do you all think? Best 1/18 sc? Or what should I change, size? Price? Brushed vs brushless? SC or other?
Thanks

I don't know if there's a such thing as "cheap" brushless SC. I have the Detta SC with a Castle crazy motor. I can't remember if I ever upgraded the diffs yet or not. I've never run it on a track, so I'm not much help. Heck, we haven't run our rc cars in 6 months. Seems like you get tired of fixing broke stuff with more money, so taking a break for a while eases the pain.

I have broken 0 parts this spring and summer, and i've beat them, I just don't run into immovable objects
I know the shaft driven RC18 stuff is supposed to be a little more fool proof, diffs hold up untill you run 3s and stupid motor combo's they should have fixed the bugs on the RC18-2 cars by now.
soft ground? what happens? traction roll? thats going to happen on any small, top-heavy rc.
