Redcat Sumo
I own the new 2.4Ghz Redcat Racing Sumo, and I'm already running the 180 motor, But I was just wondering if anyone knows of a different motor (Brushed or Brushless) Icould use thats a bit more reliable or easier to find at most hobby stores. Any help here would be great.

I kinda doubt the sumo would hold upto brushless power well. You can upgrade the power some buy going to a 2s lipo battery. But that takes a custom battery tray and such.
could you post a pic of the radio? I had the older FM version sumo...but havent seen the new 2.4ghz radio.
I recently bought the new 2.4ghz tremor 1/16, which I like.

The radio for the Tremor is the same as the Sumo. Next on the buying listis the Hurricane XTEBuggy and the Lightning EPX Pro. Picking them up sometime January seeing that I know have a Recat Store where Ilive.... I was thinking of also picking up the Sumo Crawler, because I'm in the middle of building a 8'x8' trail course in my basement.. Pictures of that coming soon.

any of the losi 180 motors should work fine. Only difference might be how you plug it to the ESC.

I havent owned the sumo crawler but have considered buying one. Havent owned the XTE yet either....but if its as good as the earthqauke 8e then you will like it.
I have owned the lightning epx pro. stinkin fast car for the money. be sure to get a lipo if you dont own one yet. Its a pretty durable car too. It doesnt handle like some of the nice tamiya or HPI cars, but for the money its alot faster.
