What brushless setup in a 1/16 boost??

What brushless setup in a 1/16 boost??
this is my first post, and im not too good with choosing brushless esc's and motors that arent a system together. Any idea if This http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=11743 will work good in a ecx boost with this motor http://www.hobbypartz.com/96m207-3660-2600kv-9t.html also would be running a 2s 5000 mah Turnigy battery. I have no idea how KV works with the Esc so any advice is apreciated!

I see no problem with that setup, except the ECX Boost is 1/10 scale. That setup should fit like a glove. I am also confused on KV. Read this to find out more about motor KV.

KV= RPM per volt
if you multiply the voltage of the battery by the KV you find out the approximate RPM range
2600 is too low for most anything, I'd go with 3500 kv min.(specially if you are running 3s 3500 should prolly be the max) 4000kv is usually a decent spot for offroad vehicles on 2S any higher the motor gets hot cause they are meant for on-roads
