Cool SY2 1/16 4WD short course upgraded to 3s and crash and crash and crash and not broken


http://youtu.be/xszyncyrzIk Alright, this is what we have tested last weekend. With settings as the shown in this picture, this truck can go 60mph! What we have assembled inside are:
- 60A HobbyWing brushless esc
- Leopard 2845 4420kv brushless motor
- Total 3s with series wiring (7.4v 2s 1800mAh 20c + 4.7v 1s 1800mAH lipo)
- dual 2.5kg.cm/0.11sec(6v) servo !!!!!!!! (reaction time is super lightning quick!!)

wow that looks somewhat familiar...


seriously that thing looks like a carbon copy of a 1/16th scale slash... I wouldn't doubt it if traxas's parts would fit on it


Will be honest for what I see them on ebay for it is damn tempting to order one just to screw around with it, and see.

Holy crap, syco! You're right! Might pick up some upgrades for my MERV from this kit.

RTR they are $112 lol
I'm actually curious as to what the upgrades are outside a light gray chassis, and what looks like aluminum shocks

Lightbulb upgrade version of an upgraded version ^^

The original SY2 comes with all plastic transmission gear and upgraded version comes with full bearing and metal drive shafts/ dog bone/ join cups, etc. Just that, I've found the upgraded shock are not upgraded at all. So I've spent a very long time searching for a new damper for it. The alloy shocks you've seen on pic are not original upgraded version, those are from upgraded parts for Tamiya TT02. And I've changed the front toe link to metal as well. ^^
