Default New Redcat Sumo RC - Video & Upgrades!

DO NOT BUY
Servo failed after 3 month and there are no better replacements. Plus it has mostly no metal upgrades.
I just got my Redcat Sumo RC last week and I have had a lot of fun with it. RC Cars is a new hobby I'm interested in. I have already been through many rc cars, planes, and helicopters, and I have found that hobby grade is way better than toy rc vehicles. I have posted two videos on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYT--M07Dfc & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvZBL2FNkbY. I also plan on making upgrade videos. By the way, the cat hates my truggy.

Upgrades (Coming in the Mail):
*Heatsink - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040PU8OO
*180 Motor - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B7TSTUQ
*Bearings - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5LAERE

Unless they changed the servo from the AM that servo you are getting won't work

Check to see if the servo has 4 wires as the AM one used some proprietary crap servo that was unable to be replaced with anything else (I have an AM one). If it has 4 wires you can't swap it to anything else

It has 3 wires and came with a 2.4GHz transmitter, I think they changed from AM to 2.4GHz.

ahh ok then you are lucky the AM ones were pretty crappy. Range was like 20 feet, and servos were complete crap that you could only replace with another crap servo
