[Help] Looking For A Brushless 4WD
I've been looking for a Mini or Micro brushless four wheel drive vehicle. I would like it to have all metal gears and to be able to have an option for a steering gyro. Any suggestions?

What sort of diff does the Teton have? Read that it's metal ring and pinion - is it ball diff or plastic spider gears? Looks like you decided to save and went brushed.
One way to save with you'rein a pinch is to buy a roller chassis.
e.g.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Traxxas-1-16...item2a40ad3423
That's $120 on the chassis.
Buy your own wheels, motor, esc, radio and body.
If you go chinese, or stock parts from ebay, you can save quite a bit.

Spider gears of the diff may be plastic though.
Either way, I found this thread which would be of interest to you:

Picture in the second thread shows plastic teeth in the spider gears.
Someone there also upgraded to rc18t steel ball diff - so that's a good option later.

Look for a used mini e-revo VXL, you should get one easily for $200, metal gears from the factory, brushless, fast, lipo capable...
You can put a steering gyro in anything....

Mini revo, mini 8ight...check craigslist, you should be able to get either for $150 or less with patience. Both have parts sets when you buy them so you end up with loads of parts with minimum additional investment. And then of course the fact that they don't break to begin with is a plus!
those new dromidas look solid too.... $100 at ur LHS
