Yes, the e-clips were one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen. Also those stupid D shaped shafts, just to make you buy their tires.
I have always admired Losi. The were the first to put a nice radio in with their RTR trucks. Also their stuff was always regarded to be one of the best, like just under Mugen. But that's all a matter of opinion. I had the Losi LST and it was an awesome very well built truck.

But these micros are a whole different story.

So... Moving right along. The DT wheels fit great with the threaded axles.
Got the servo and motor installed. Now I just need to find motor screws. I can't believe the motor nor the motor plate / diff assy kit came with the motor screws
The esc is also ready to be installed, but I'm going to take some length off of some of these wires, they are a little long.
Almost there.

Well, the guy just got back in the Country and is shipping me the last 4 tires he has, so I can't believe I will actually be able to finish this truck up with original tires.
Still need to install the rx and esc and program the esc. Should be running the truck in a few days. Just too busy right now to do it. :/

SyCo,
I hope you can help me. I bought one of these escs on Ebay and can't figure out how to program it. I've tried it with Hobbywing, Turnigy and Hobbyking program cards and none will work with it.
It works great in forward and the brake works but no matter how many times I double tap the brake it won't go into reverse.
Any ideas?

Oh, here is a link to the esc.

hmm weird
Won't lie mine gave me a few issues so I had to adjust my controller throttle channel. After I tinkered a bit it allowed reverse.
That also looks a little bit different
as for programming I don't think there is any

Thanks, it was the throttle settings. I just messed with the throttle trim and turned the esc on and off with each adjustment and now I have reverse lol YEAH!!!

So... she's now 99% finished. I ran her several times on the DT tires and she runs great. but I want to put the original wheels on. Tried to do that with the upgraded threaded shafts but it's a no go. Too short. so... I'm going to put the original ones that use the little C clips back on so I can use the original tires. As you can see in the picture it looks a lot better with the original wheels and they are larger. I also noticed that there is a significant width difference. In the picture from the top, the front driver side is the only one that has the original shaft, the others are the DT threaded ones.
I also took some pics with the little wheels on the front and the large ones on the back. Something like we did in the old days with the hot rods

Found out, the original Highroller wheels will not work with the threaded axles. Had to order new rears with clips. Had a set for the front that worked out great. Also learned that the bearing set I got for the front will not work for either the threaded axles nor the ones with clips. Had to put the bushings in to get them to work.
It's ok though, she's plenty smooth and fast, jut put a drop of Trinity oil on the shaft/bushing and she's slick as ice. Just running around in the house anyway.
