Default My $100 find and a couple questions...

Looking on Ebay a couple weeks ago I found a Team Associated 18MT , said "like new".
So I was thinking I will bid up to $120 max. I won it for $118 and $12 shipping. $130 total and I have myself a mini to beat around the house and chase the dogs in the winter.
We live on a farm that has a long "L" shaped gravel driveway, about 150 yards long so it should be good out there also.
Well the truck came with a Reedy brushless speed control, a 8000kv motor installed and a C4 6100kv brushless motor, a Team Losi radio and receiver.
Also came with all the stock motor and speed control, full force rc carbon fiber battery strap, aluminum rear shock tower, aluminum rear carriers, aluminum c-hubs, aluminum motor mount and heat sink, aluminum front hubs and RPM blue front bumper.a full set of rubber sealed bearings I had to install, rear aluminum shock tower and stock body.
Even came with the 1/10 scale wheel adapters.
I ordered the front aluminum shock tower, new aluminum shocks, all 4 a-arms and turn buckles for the linkage and a new body for when it's cleaned up and just sitting on my rc table in the den.
I don't think I did to bad for $130.
Here are a few pictures of it.
Now for the questions, what is a good tire and rim to go bigger fthan stock for dirt? I have looked on Ebay but everything I find are crawler tire and rims or touring and they are smaller than stock.

Mini E Revo tires and wheels should fit if it has 12mm hex on the truck.

I would recommend buying the RPM arms, and get rid of those aluminum ones as if you hit any bumps it will either bend the pin, or break the hinge off where it connects to the chassis.

Aluminum arms are more for trucks just sitting on shelf's, and never being used.

I'd tend to agree with that... 80% of alloy "upgrades" are absolute rubbish.

there is enough comparison videos and threads around so it's not really worth going into why
