Picked up this used mini t a week or so ago, got it for my fiancee to run so she wouldn't feel left out. I've found myself driving it more than her as Iwas waiting on parts for my MiniDT the past week. Decided to see what it would look like with the DT wheels and bumper on..... looked good until the stock motor burnt out on the third run with LiPos...... oh well, upgrade time!

I have figured some of the best batteries to use with the stock AAset up. Try the Energizer Rechargable, They have 2000 Mah and work great. My truck rips it up in the sandbox even stock with those things. They are only 1.2 volts but they outperformed most other 1.5 batteries I have tried. Pretty cool.

I just bought a losi 2s 1000mah lipo for mini-dt and it only charged to 648. Is there something that I did wrong or is it because it was in storage mode for the time it took to sale? Thank you if you need more info let me know.
BTW I used a hyperion 0606i charger at 1amp

your lipo should have been stored with about 80% charge so you should be good to go just be sure the lipo isn't puffed up or swollen.
after you run it down it should take full charge

the one has a losi combo unit esc/rx and the other one has the later were you had separate units , i would think . combo unit should have a 5 wire servo. or a 4 wire i forget and the other should have a 3 wire servo .

I just got this mini baja off eBay.

I've always liked how these look and been wanting one for a while. It's all stock but I plan on removing all stock electronics to replace them with a 2.4 radio, brushless, and lipo. I'm thinking about the Novak mongoose system. Planning on running 2S lipo. Also need bearings, aluminum shocks and a few carbon fiber goodies.
