TLT-1 4ws with Traxxas 3-channel?
My super cool girlfriend bought me a TLT-1 for my Birthday. It's all set up now and man does it haul!! It looks proportionately faster than my Sirio driven T-maxx. I bet its going 20 or so MPH.
My question is... will a Traxxas 3-channel reciever/Radio setup like the one on the T-maxx work to allow for mixing so I can run my rear servo without a reverse y-splitter? That would rule since I already have an extra radio and would just need to get another reciever.

RE: TLT-1 4ws with Traxxas 3-channel?
you dont need a third channel. all you have to do is get a servo wire spliter. they make them for airplanes to have more than one servo on one channel. i bought one to make my t-maxx have 4 wheel stear but i couldnt get it to work so my dad put it in his plane. they are only like $5 depending on the hobby shop. if the servo is going the rong way to make it stear sharper just trun the servo around or turn the servo horn to face the other direction, if there is anough room to do that.

to get good 4ws you need a mixable third channel tx rx(i don't beleive the thq is mixable) or get a servo y harnes with a built in reverse. theese two setups use the front style steering witch gives you more suspension teavel.
