did you have to make the front drive hafts? i dont thinkt that the tamiya 4x4 cars have steering in the front so you would have to make drives for it. or was it a diffrent kit that you are talking about.

The front part is from the 4WD Chassis Kit #77059. I did have to take the gear case apart.
I kept some of the parts. Then I put them in the 4WD Chassis gear case. Hope this will clarify
some what.

Hi case044,
I have make a correction on the reply I sent to you. The front part is from Tamiya FWD Chassis Kit- not 4WD Chassis Kit.
I found a place that has the FWD Kit, but there is a problem displacing. Here is a link: http://users.chariot.net.au/~mbm/engineer/tam70059.htm to another company, but the price is too high. It cost around $15.00.

Hi Overalnd,
I'm scanning more pictures on Monday. Hope they explain how it works.
I' want to send my design to Tamiya; therefore, I don't want to reveal too much.
Thanks for your interest! I have other posting- go take a look!

Hi Overalnd,
I hope these picture cuold explain how it works.
You can go to my CAD Drawing posting which shows the the friont part
of the Front Wheel Drive works. If you have more questions, feel free to ask me.
This is my new project. The chassis is finihed. Now I need to design a body.
The front wheels are from Tamiya 1/12 bikes. It can go over 1-3/4" vertical obstacle.
