HI Tech Servo for Mini T
Which hi tech servo do you recommend? anyone? I have been looking at the hs 55 but its not metal, I like the hs-85mg but its a little big and I want something that does not require cutting up the truck but if i have to, then I guess i will, anyways, I read somewhere someone recommended "purple" servos are those hitech and how do they perform?

i run a servo that isnt metal either and i love it.. the steering torque is pretty quik.. i dont know who makes them because i got a bunch of them from a friend check out the video i didnt have to alter anything to make it fit.. i just use double face tape and mount it down with the servo lock plate...
the servos are clear blue and clear purple. if ya want one ill sell ya one.. click link

I use a HiTec HS-5125MG servo (programmable metal-geared airplane servo) without a servo saver. However, I've hit some brick walls very hard without hurting the servo. Of course, I installed that servo long before Losi came out with thier Mini-T servo saver for other types of servos. Some dremmeling/modification is required and the servo is not that cheap.

I use a hs-85 and I am going to get the fullforcerc.com aluminum chassis and get the servo mounts that will make the servo fit well.

RE: HI Tech Servo for Mini T
regarding hitec's HS-85MG, what is the most recommended servo saver? i've read people have used some from hpi & kimbrough. will the servo saver for hitec servos from losi (LOSB1226- link below) fit it. it said it will fit hitec's HS-55, but i'm not sure the 85 would work. thanks

RE: HI Tech Servo for Mini T
Well most people have taken apart the hitec servo and changed the horn from the stock one wich will work.. i myself use bluebird servos and i have had no problem feeding the savor on it without problem although the saver is a square inlet. good luck!
