Hi guys.. Long thread[8D] Winters almost here so time to forget about 80 mph gas riggers.

I didnt see anyone ask about how this Mamba CM2080 would fit & run in the soon to be released Associated RC18T so I will.

Any Ideas?

Second. I will be running either a Mini T or the Associated RC18T on a small carpet track with plywood jumps. I see allot of comments stateing the Mamba 8000KV is to much for small tracks. Are there any alternatives to the 8000KV motor which would make the car faster on a small track (better cornering)? Like the Chili Pepper CP20L Series? Or other high power combos which weigh less than the mamba?

I dont need to run 50+ mph. I want the fastest lap times though.

Thanks

NO you cannot use the stock mini-t radio equipment u need a seperate receiver setup..

and i said not to compare them because one is a 2 wheel drive stadium truck the other is a 4 wheel drive onroad car.. but if u want just speed go with the rs4... for speed and jumps go with the mini-t

What do you have your reverse/brake power set at?

And yes - it will fit in the RS4 no problem.

I set it up at first for the calibration and skipped the rest and set the brake with the PC link to 50%

Hmm - try it at 100% and see what happens. Might be a bug in our beta Mamba-Link USB software.

What batts/connector do you use?

Hey, I have the same problem!! I set it for 100% and it barely moves in reverse!! What's up with that??? I haven't tried doing it through thecontroler itself yet but That's why I spent the extra $25 on theadapter you know! What's up with that?

I haven't played with it much since this morning but I will on Monday... If you figure it out please let me know... G
