Right now I might have to replace some parts - When I take my MiniT apart to look later I will know for sure.
I have been running the Graupner 300 and now have the K3 to put in. I want to compare them but if I have to replace some parts then it will wait before I can try the K3. They are the only 2 brushed motors I have.

Well its not very easy to say whats best as ive only tried so far.....Peak Raider and this is not the best but its a big step up from the stock T motor. But im looking at the K3 for the next step up.
This is been run on a 6cell 1100mah Losi and a gearing of 13t-60t atm..........but as always i will be watching this thread to find out what others use.
Some say go brushless but i carnt afford to........

im running a k3 with gp1100 with deans. very fast, but i am only comparing to stock. stock it struggled to make it across my lawn. now it seems like it flies across. its barely touching the ground. front wheels have so little downforce on them steering is very unresponsive...but fun. almost like skiing across the lawn
cant get a pinion to stay on though. ill get some alloy ones soon. thing is the k3 doesnt have flat spot to tighten grub screw on. might have to grind it...
very happy with it allround.

Im the same with the flat spot........i just got Team Trinity pinion set and ground a small flat on the motor shaft.........no more probs as long as you use a small amount of thread lock on the grub screw.

RE: What is your favorite (BRUSHED)Motor????
the fireball is all ive had for my VMG so far but i love.i think its a 300 if not dont get all pissed off.its not my fault im dumb.[:-]i dont know if id want anything faster than that,it already pulls wheelies like nothing when you tap the throttle.i have it geared for less power because it says not to go any higher than a 12t pinion thats what i got.i want to turn it into a crawler so ill probably get a lower one and if i can get a hold of one of my uncles ill make a custom titanium 6 or 7 tooth one.RAW POWER![>:]im so impressed with the fire ball im throwing 2 of them in a tank project ive recently taken up.you can read more about it im RC Car general discussion forum.

my battery pack is new only cycled once, run time although i havent timed it seemed around 15 min. hope it extends a bit. i used a drop of ca to keep pinion on, didnt work, might have got glue where i shouldnt have. but seems ok. i have already bought gpm 11 tooth pinion. think it will be okay on my k3?

RE: What is your favorite (BRUSHED)Motor????
Hey guys been a while, I just wanted to say, Since i've had my mini t i've run a ton of motors thru it already. after my stock pos, i ran a mutliplex 280bb which wasnt a horrible motor but wasnt great either. after that i bought my first graunper speed 300 and loved it. I got about 3 month of beating out of it. i picked up a wattage 370 after that for real cheap and it was a pretty good motor just not as fast as the graunper. i bought a tuned 300 which i wasnt happy with it. im not going to mention who sold it here on the forums. now im back to the graunper. they are fast and you cant beat the price vs. preformance ratio. I would buy another tuned 300 from one of the bigger guys now but for 25 bucks for a motor that wont last as long as a graunper just doesnt make sense to me.

Yeah - the graupner 300 I got for 8 punds and that included shipping costs. For the price it is a good choice. But I am also happy with the K3 even though it did cost more. The K3 gives more speed with same gearing and batteries.
