IT MITE BE AT RCX MARCH 19-21 I AM GOING TO THAT ONE
That may be kind of difficult since RCX is May 20-22, 2005 (Anaheim) and June 11-12, 2005 (Chicago).

TNB for sure let me know and we are planning to go for sure no doubt......
I'll probably let you know late tonight or early morning since it will probably be late by the time I get home from the convention center, especially if we try out the track before the show opens tomorrow.

Irish,
If you want to help it would probably be an all day thing on the Wednesday prior to the Chicago show. The individual who is going to Chicago in advance was reluctant since neither one of us personally know you and since you have never set up this type of track. In my opinion, it's pretty easy but both of us have been setting up and tearing down our own tracks for a while. The Chicago track also will not be as intricate as the Hobby Visions' track since the Chicago track is just going to be one "flat" track, but it will be freaking gigantic. Tonight we set up three tracks--a custom made off-road track going over a small boat pond, a partial mini-tile for exhibit only, and several standard tracks joined together going over a custom built bridge which should have some good Z speed.

My highlight tonight was having my photo taking in the HotWheel Beach Bomb bus.

...though no new news on the Kyosho Mini-buggy.

I heard the same thing though I wanted to verify it. There were lots of corporate Kyosho people here today.

That looks pretty cool, I'd say that would have priority over the Duratrax or Trinity any day IMHO. BTW, Travis why do you always type with caps lock on? It hurts my eyes to try and read your posts in capitals and ****ty english. [:'(]

that's awesome! if you get a blacked out fuel bottle and a tiny fog machine you could make it look like it was nitro. or you could just rebuild.

i think its better thats it is electric. but a conversion will probably come out. maybe with a .12 or smaller engine. electric would be cool because you can drive inside. although i started my nitro inside once. but in the bathroom. i dont know why

A-tec makes the VMG and Mini-Monster, right? I think they make great products. i would get the A-tec before getting the other. My Mini-Monster is tough. That also has same electronics that my Mini-Monster has.

Also looks like a full size servo like the Mini_monster as well. Hard to tell for sure about the servo from the pics. I want one of those!!!

Any release dates???

I was hoping to eventually see some regular 2WD buggies, these just look like rc18t's with a scaled down 1/8 buggy body on them.

Regardless - after having the MM - which is a VMG clone. Knowing how tough that plastic is - I will get the A-Tec buggy.

Ill probobly get one too (if the price is reasonable), just disapointed that the first mini buggies dont look much different than the ST's.

studysession,
Who cares about the electronics--you'll probably drop a brushless motor in it anyway.

jakjr,
"regular 2WD buggies"? Dumb question, but which 1/8th scale buggy is 2WD??????? It's not the Kyosho K3, not the MP-777, nor the MP-777 Special 1.

I was reffering to 1/10 buggies, like the B4, XXX, Evader BX, etc.

Perhaps, when some other company miniaturizes their own 1/10th scale buggy, you'll get your wish. To me, it only makes sense that Kyosho would miniaturize their own world class buggy which is 4WD, especially with the newer 1/18th scale 4WDs hitting the market. Regarding an April 1st release date, it was rumored months ago that the Kyosho mini-buggy should be out the second quarter. I just hope it won't be like PTI.

thats why there was a buggy conversion for the mini-t didnt you see that? and its 2wd

tig i think it looks intresting with the front mounted motor. wonder if it is a good idea wouldnt be hard to do that to the rc18t.
i'll prolly buy that anyways lol

Can't wait till I can get that A-Tech buggy. Wife will have a fit, but that is ok. I am going to pass on the Kyosho and get the A-Tech. I know there will be more hop-ups for the Kyosho - But I really like the Mini-Monster and think the quality is outstanding. Holds up and takes a beating well.
