RE: Mini/Micro Nitro RC?
Dudes. What don'y you get. My car did cost me 2500. Start buying aluminum screws, carbon graphite parts, including the BODY and all the aluminum Hammad Gouman parts lige WHEELS, arms, hubs, chasis, 2 speed tranny, titanium shock towers, mipp exaust, fuatba PCM pro radio, Trinity batteries and then tell me if u don't hit the 2000-3000$ price range. I could have fed a kid for 12 months with the money I dumped on this car. If ur all jelous and can't believe me then don't and stop making a deal out of it.
[Edit]
Time to talk to admin here to find out why this harrasment is still going on.

2500 canadian is 2050 USD, thats only a $450 difference.
Just so you know, our money is no longer "Faded Green" now its colorful [sm=RAINFRO.gif]
Batteries and radio system dont count, those can be used with other cars.
Lets see some pictures of this car with its carbon graphite body, "fuatba" radio system, "mipp exaust", and whatever the hell "lige" wheels are.

gld. steam engines are like a hundred years old. who really cares about them. yeah if your older there ok and stuff its alright. but inless your like 60 or something, move on. you do know that theres what we call gas engines now? ya pretty amazing. these cheap pieces of crap rc cars your calling them, your the one supposedly spending all this dough on them. if you thought there crap why would you waste your money. later

RE: Mini/Micro Nitro RC?
the minit nitro conversion u saw is extremly nice, i know as im probably the only one on all of RCU that has it, the guy only made about 13 of them, and then abruptly stopped because it was to hard im not selling mine, as i havnt even run it yet (broke the norvel engine and have been to lazy to order a second one) just keep looking at ebay, sometimes if your lucky one shows up on ebay.... and i mean really lucky the kits this guy was selling were high quality
but if u really want one learn how to use CAD, go to a machine shop, and make it urself

RE: Mini/Micro Nitro RC?
Maybe MR Negative should make a steam engine powered mini-t, that might be worth 3000 canadian . And what the heck is canadian bacon? isnt it just ham? Moreover the thought of candian bacon shooting out the exhaust of a steam powered mini-t might be pretty darned fast. I like many things am nothing. I must retire as Galadriel of the north. NUGENS!

RE: Mini/Micro Nitro RC?
mike - that's a funny comment about canadian bacon. that's a term we use in the states. i asked for it when i crossed over to ontario when i was studying new york. stopped by a diner and asked if they had "canadian bacon". the waitress looked at me funny and said "don't know what you mean but we got bacon" and i thought... well hell "regular" in canada must be canadian. it wasn't.
canadian bacon is like french fries, which are french, baked alaska, which alaskans have never tasted, hainan chicken rice, which doesn't exist in hainan... etc.
btw, this post is funny. on a more serious note i would think the hardest part to manufacture here is the clutch assembly. if you could fabricate a two shoe clutch to fit a half A engine, you could probably massage the rest of the parts in. i've seen micro heli's converted to glow and that might be a place to start.

RE: Mini/Micro Nitro RC?
Here are some of the things that could ease your pain in finding the right parts.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Cox-049-Thimbled...QQcmdZViewItem
the price for the kyosho kit is around $180-200 and it is on yahoo auctions in Taiwan. i'm not sure if you can find this kit anymore. but clearly it will have many of the parts you need to complete this 1/18 nitro car of yours. good luck!

Hi
This is an old thread, more then likely they have moved on to bigger and better pastures. I just wish more people would come back to this website, it would be nice to get help ever so often, instead of never getting any replies to questions.
