Default Minizilla or rc18t ???

Ok, I've been looking around the web and have decided to either buy the rc18t or the minizilla. I know that both are good cars, but i don't know which one to get? You're all probably going to say "one's a monster truck and one's a stadium truck" but that's not what I'm asking. I'm just looking for which one is a better buy. I'm not planning to add a bunch of upgraded parts, so which one has the best durability/stock form. Thanks for the help.

Go with the rc18t its got a lot of aftermarket support compared with the minizilla its got no after market support so you cant hop it up.
Heres a vid for you to check out so you can compare them- minizilla vid- http://www.hpiracing.co.jp/contents...nizilla0412.wmv
Rc18t vids- http://www.one18th.com/GetGallery3735.htm
Heres what a pretty hopped up rc18t looks like- http://www.one18th.com/GetGallery4088.htm
Heres what a hopped up minizilla looks like- http://www.one18th.com/ShowReview133.htm
Theres a big difference!!!
I would go with the rc18t all the way!!

it really depends on the place you wanna run it, the rc18t is for speed, the minizilla more for grass and crawling. i would get the rc18t because it is cheaper.

Who knows where you came up with this idea. The MiniZilla is just like any other RC on the market. Will take a lot of after market hop-ups just like any other 1/18 scale truck. Look at the MiniT - it did not have oil filled shocks. Neither did the VMG and a lot of others. They are still real competition RC's just like the RC18T or anything else.

I think i read somewhere that the gears or diffs or something on the rc18t slipped and caused a clicking noise? Do you guys know what this is and is their an easy way to fix it?

That can happen with any RC - My bandit does that since I went brushless. When you upgrade in motors and other things that make it perform better - you end up also having to upgrade gears and drive train later because the extra power wears them out or breaks them faster.

Ok....The video's you post are correct. The second part is completly wrong. That is a STOCK zilla. Not a "hopped up minizilla". The zilla is not a toy. It has a 380 motor, ball bearing, sealed battery storage, ect. How do you expect it to have after market? It came out a week ago! . Hot Bodies has already announced alumium tvp's, cvd's, and a motor heatsink. The zilla is a great basher. The rc18t is a great racer. Its up to you.

Get the zilla for bashing or the 18t for racing. I prefer the zilla!

the rc18t is awesome for racing/bashing and the zilla will be good for crawling/bashing so if you live somewere were there is not any tracks or you dont like to race then get the zilla

I've already got a savage and so i was looking for something electric that i could run with less hasssle. I'm kinda low on cash so that's why i was gonna go mini, and i can offroad anything with my savage, so i guess i'm leaning towards the rc18t, but my next question is how much can it go off road. Like will it handle dirt and mulch, or grass.. How capable of an offroader is it?

it is very capable. certaily not as good as the zilla, but for that, it has speed. the rc18t would be faster. and since your low on cash, get the rc18t. its cheaper, and for the money to get the zilla, you can get some nice upgrades for the rc18t.

i say go for THE RC TNT its awsom i love it mine suffers a bashing like no other and so far the only thing i brokr was an arm and out drive by making it hit a curb going of a 7 foot jump so i say RC TNT (rc18t), the diff all you need to do is put shims in it and it would blow the zilla away. BlAh GidY Up Zilla! lol
