Im wondering wat brush motor for the mini-t is the fastest and most reliable without spending $100 on just the motor, and wat size pinion and battery pack should i for best results with the motor? Also will it make it pop wheelies on command?

Go for the Beast Raptor from one18th.com. I do not know about the pinion, but for the battery I would get a Team Helotes GP1100 6 cell (if you have stock electronics) or 7 cell (if you have aftermarket electronics). It will probably wheelie on demand.

Hi,

whooo hoo first post! Now to introduce. Im the kid that tunes these motors.[>:] There are many of them availble through ebay. You can find them by searching xray m18. I havent gotten a offroad 1/18 truck yet to test my motors on it, but based on what my customers say, they like it. I have some vids of my xray racing with my motors in my auctions.

Thanks

Daniel K.

FYI.
daniel k. has 2 versions of his tuned Pro RK370s. The latest, Version 2, is much faster than version 1. both are ideal for the mini-t. just make sure you beef up your drivetrain.

btw, his un on $bay is 'imachickenduck'

A few questions about the motor.

1.Can it be used with stock electronics?

2.Can you use the stock motor plate or do you need a bigger one?

3.If you put on a 11 tooth pinion and used a basic 6-cell battery about how fast would it go?

4.What mods would I need to make to the drivetrain so it could handle the motor?

I have a scorpion- I think they are about $25 now. I paid $35 when I got mine. It is as as fast or faster than any brushed motor I've seen on a mini t. I saw one with a crystal 3 I believe? and our cars ran out pertty much even.
