Default rc 18t lipo's

Does anybody know of any other lipo's that fit the 18t other than the align 3cell. I'm looking for a 2 cell to fit in the tray.

PolyQuest 1800 11.1v Li-Poly Pack are a perfect fit.
or alternatively, the PolyQuest 1800 7.4v Li-Poly Pack (2 cell) will work also.

too BIG to fit. unless you want to make some major mods. The PQ 1800 11.1V are just right. Size: 34mm x 98mm x 28mm
btw, on a BL system, you'll get excellent runtimes - 60min+.

so although they called 1800 they have about 4 times the run time of a 1800 nicad/nhim cells

schmism,

"on a BL system..."...

a 2 cell lipo is fine on the stock esc, but then its recommended you use a low-voltage device (fmadirect sells one) to protect your investment.

jimbobmarley,

yes. look at the graph of a typical lipo vs niMh/nicad and you'll also see that the lipos hold a better "duration" of the charge (ie. discharge is more flat and consistent).
