Default Mini-t price drop

I don't know know how long ago this happened, but i just went to the horizon hobby site and saw that they had the mini-t for $100. I mostly use tower hobbies and they don't sell losi products. i was thinking of getting one, but I'm not sure because the schocks aren't that good, and i would have to change all of the electronics. What do you guys think?

Hey
If you are just going to swap out most of the electronics go for the [link=http://teamlosi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB0210]Mini T Pro[/link]

It has the hopups you would want on the Mini T like the oil filled shocks and MIP CVD's.
It would be better IMO than getting a MiniT and swapping all of the electronics. Don't pay for the electronics you don't use.

Try http://www.ultimatehobbies.com//c484.html Their online store prices are usually higher than their store prices, so that is why they have "Call for Price". For example, a $185 product may actually be $145. They also usually have free shipping on orders over $50 shipped within the continental USA.

MIP is the brand, I think it stands for Moores Ideal Products or something along those lines.

Tower hobbies should have, but if not check Horizon Hobby, I know for a fact they were selling them for the mini-t.

The CEN Mini-Madness is $99 and it comes with a 540 motor, a 6-cell battery pack, and charger. I did over pay though since I paid $100 instead of $99.

Now a FT18T should be 100 bucks and that would be a done deal for me!

http://www.ultimatehobbies.com

Although the CEN Mini-Madness is not showing up on their website or I missed it, I was in Ultimate Hobbies less than two weeks ago and they had numerous CEN Mini-Madnesses in stock. They may just not have been listed on the website yet or they may have simply sold the batch already. The owner also informed me that the online store program itself would be updated soon and it should reflect everything that is in stock. Either way, they usually have a "Call for Lower Price" marked on their current type of website which could be substantial. By the way, "FREE SHIPPING FOR INTERNET & MAIL ORDERS OVER $50"--continental USA.
