mamba, something wrong with it?
I have a mamba 25/ 8000kv motor with 3 cell 11.1 lipo.. I have one question, If I give the car full throttle from a stop (in my hand or in the air) It wont move and the esc will make a strage almost half moaning beeps that sounds horrible. I cant really discribe it other than it sounds sick and the wheels just kind of twitch. The only way I can get the car to move is to ease the throttle out EXTREMELY slowly. I mean as slowly as I can and once the car starts to move I can then give it full throttle. I would also like to point out that the esc does get really hot quickly..
I was just wondering what seems to be the problem with the esc.. I have the connections all put togather with deans connectors aswell.

try changing your settings on the starting power collumn (no5. on the list). the standard setting is low. try switching it to medium. The ESC heating up, well..... mine does get quite warm too but not so much as to worry about it. Have you asked Castle Creations yet? They are very helpful when it comes to client service!

RE: mamba, something wrong with it?
ok i think i now what the problem is the mamda motor can handle 8 nimh cells or 2 lipo and the esc can handle 10 or 12 (not sure) nimh cells or 3 lipo cells But on the box i think is said it could handle 10 (or 12) cells or 3 lipo but that is the spec of the esc the motor can not it will get slower and slower as time goes on (after like 20 runs )because the motor is burning up with the volts going trough

No don't think it's that
I have run my mamba 8000 happily on 3 liths no reduction in power here. I did have the cogging problem you described when i first had the mamba but the latest software updates have cured any cogging issues I had. Could be dodgy cells or bad soldering on the connectors
