I have a mamba competition X package (mamba 8000kv, mamba 25 esc) and i bought the usb connection and i made a default settings, i updated the software, and i made sure there wasnt any physical problems (like gear mesh, something getting in the way of spur or pinion or something). I am running a 2 cell 1900 mah lipo, and after about 3 minutes the motor becomes burning hot (literally, it feels like the head of a nitro engine if youve floored it for 3 minutes) Ive also tried using 8 cell gp1100 nimhs, but i still got the same problem. Do you have an idea of what might be happening? thanks in advance.

your gearing is way wrong

It depends on what rig you're running it in and what your tires are and what your gearing is. Temps around 180 F are normal, but any higher and I'd recommend you drop your pinion down a tooth or two.
