What kinda speed were you getting with your hi-max, what was the runtime (also what battery), and what model of himax motor. My lhs owner really carries alot of these hi-max's and im interested in giving one a shot.

I don't think I clocked the Himax and too late now as it's in my micro rs4. It's the 2015 (short can) 5400kv, you could always try the 2025 (long can) 5300kv. With the Thunder Power 2000mah 3S pack I would get about half an hour runtime on paved areas, a little less on grass. It's not the best motor but I was really surprised with it's performance. Put a 22t pinion on it and it's pretty reliable, not much torque compared to they Hyperions but great performance out of the little motor.
A lhs blew out what ever Himax's he had in stock for as little as $10. That was before I got my mlst or I would have picked them up.
