Some light dremel work to the carb near the idle screw does it. I had to do this with a small sanding barrel....took off just a little bit.

You might try and call them. They don't have any metal gears for the diffs.

has anyone shortened the fuel line on it. its about 6in long when 1in would do. ive already rerouted it away from the servo since it was binding it up. also any benefits from plugging the muffler line.

I tried starting my Chaos last night to finish breaking the engine in, but I haven't got it to start. I keep yanking on the pull start, but get nothing. I've tried plugging the pipe to make sure fuel is in the carb, taking out the glow plug, and emptying the carb of fuel, but still nothing. The glow plug still glows when I put it on my glow igniter. I've also messed with the idle adjustment screw, and the needle. I want to try to get it back to factory conditions. Does anyone know what the factory settings are for the idle adjustment screw, and the needle?

Any ideas what the problem might be? I'm relatively new with nitro vehicles, so I'm not sure what to look for. Thanks for your help.

No I've never taken out a sleeve. I called Horizon Hobby, and they said there was no real factory setting, and they suggested I send the car to them. I don't think that's necessary because I've had it running. I just think I messed with the needle/idle settings too much, and I want to start at square one.

Hey guys so I recieved my Chaos in the mail yesterday and wow this little buggy looks cute! I recently bought a Micro Fail Safe to keep it on the very safe side when going far or just telling me when my battery gets low (If you guys want any pics ill put them up just tell). So next thing I did was pour in some 30% fuel and took her out side(Really cold outside). Before starting the Engine I set the valve about 1/8 of a turn rich. From there I started the car and had about 4-5 tanks in her to break in that motor. After the 5th or 4th tank I started to pick up some speed and started to lean her out just abit. I am really impressed on how this little buggy performs. The only thing that I hate about her are the shocks it has (GARBAGE!) lol. Is there a website or anywhere on ebay where they sell some great prefilled oil shocks and some nice tires? Everything else seems to be running fine.

My post on the previous page states all of the upgrades in the areas that you asked about. THe HOP-UP shocks are NICE, but you also need the upgraded rods to make it really smooth. ALSO, you will need shock oil. I put Kyosho Mini Inferno wheels/tires on the buggy as well. MUCH nicer. You are braver with the cold than I am....I will wait for warmer weather.....and for the streets here to be cleared of snow.

Do any of you guys know if the VULCAN diffs will fit in the CHAOS? The reason that I post this is that they are VERY similar models nad share many components. Since that is the case, and there is a METAL geared diff and other gears, that they may fit the CHaos, I was wondering if anybody has heard if they will fit. THis may be a solution to the stripped diffs that people are complaining about. It is not a cheap fix though....about $50. http://www.internet-rc.com/ircrahoforvu.html

if the pull starter comes out i found a better way to get it to recoil back in, just get a small flathead screwdriver and turn the clutch from under the buggy

well i had my chaos out today running. horizon sent me a new pullstart and reciever for free and they got here in 3 days. so it seems to be a pretty decent buggy. wheres the best place to buy mini inferno wheels and tires?
