Anyone have any ideas about that right rear. I am using dynamite alum arms, and stock knuckles. I have hot racing alum knuckles but they arent on.

RE: Mini LST
yeah its on the hex right. Ive tried several sets of wheels/tires the only thing I havent tried is going completely stock on the arms/knuckles....why? cuz Im really stubborn. Sometime this week Im hoping my exotek lxt conversion will show up. I'm sure it will involve a complete tear-down dso I will check the all-stock setup then. As for tires, I havent been able to run it enough to wear the tires. Snow, rain, snow, snow, snowrain, rainy snow . I hate Ohio weather.

I haven't had my MLST out in a few weeks but can't you adjust rear toe?
It looks only slightly toed in and it must be because of your tie-rod.

RE: Mini LST
Hi guys,
I've just ordered myself an mini lst2 and i hope it will arrive next week.
Now i got a few questions and i hope you can help me. At home i got quite a few 6 cell stick battery like tamiya uses, and i was wondering if there is an easy way to modify my lst so it can fit those? I've got no problem with modifying the entire truck myself, but if there is an after market part what does the trick it will be just easier.

Your going to need cells that are 2/3A in size (it comes with one, if you bought it new).. That 6 cell batt is around the size of the truck(wich uses Sub C type cells)

>.<,
and I was wondering all the time why I could only find 1000mAH/1400mAH racing packs for it instead of 2100mAH and above.
Well there a few quistion that i have and i'm hoping you can awnser them.
First of all, I'm not looking for high speeds. The car will be running in an urban setting, so speed aint that important because ther ain't no mutch space.
Battery life and good controll over lower speeds are the things i'm looking for.
Improving battery life: Should i go to Lipo pack's?
I've also heard that using a brushless motor will extend your battery life, but aren't brushless motor made for speed, speeds al lot higher that the stock car?

A nice Mamba Motor (brushless) will give you only a little more speed, but loads more torque. A 6800 would make for a descent set-up.

RE: Mini LST
Humm, i'm browsing through all the information here (a 120 pages of info are stiff reading).
Now i'm wondering what to mod in the beginning, should i go for better batteries, better motor's, better gears, and so forth.
So my intention now are to upgrade the drivetrain first, before i start upping batteries, motors, esc's.
But when i was browsing the net I couldn't find steel or hardend steel gears, only aluminium ones. Have they never made steel gears for this car? or have the aluminium gears proven to be better than the steel ones? Or am i barking up the wrong tree as usual.

my problem turned out to be (mainly) my skull skidplates. One of them was bent up and was making my entire back end out of line.
