I'm changing the shock oil on my rc18b for the first time, and I cant figure out how to remove the shocks. Do they pop out or what? do you unscrew anything? I cant figure it out.

please help

Their should be a ball stud on the top of the shock that connects the the shock tower. Use a 1.5mm allen wrench to unscrew it, then grab the bottom of the shock and rotate it away from the buggy until the lower ball cup pops off of the ball stud.

Then you will need to unscrew the top of the shock to change out the oil.

I cant find a 1.5mm allen wrench, yet I'v found like 4 others that just barely don't fit. Two are too big and two are too small. So there is no way to just pop both ends off? You have to have a 1.5 mm allen wrench?

edit: I went down the street to my friends house on my goped and he has one. thanks!

Needle nose pliers.
Just don't scuff the plastic too much.
