Default Mini Track

I have a 30x30' area in the woods behind my house and i was wondering if i would have enough room to build a track on it.

that certinally seems like enought room for thee little cars... you could have 10 3 foot wide lanes 5 6 foot lanes 6 5 foot lanes or 3 10 foot wide lanes... I'd reccomend going with the 6 5 foot lanes

Yea, way more than enough room for a track. I'm lookin at putting one up in a 32 x 12 foot area. Just get creative.

That should do it...

I would suggest going with 4 foot wide lanes through most of the track, if you have a big straight go with a 5 foot lane. You could also do a diagnal lane through the center for a longer straight with some cross over jumps for the more technical parts of the track.

well the track is going to be more technical than anything becuase the truck i have is a venom mini giant and it is definately not made for speed. So the track is mostly going to be jumps and rough spots and i even thought about making a 10' section of rocks to crawl over.

well today i got the leaves and stuff out of the way and got the 4' lanes made with a shovel. i am going to have to do some more work on the lanes and go somewhere on my property and find some good dirt to make the jumps with.

I wish I could get a tractor in my backyard.
I use one flat blade shovel. []

well with 22 acres i dont have too much trouble getting a tractor around. i'll try to get some pics tomorrow even though i wont have the jumps on it yet. My cousin is coming down this weekend with his rc stuff and he's gonna help me with the jumps.

I fixed the track with 2 posts laying in it, and by simply moving the posts i can have an oval or a road course type track. I'm sorry that the pics arent good, i'll try to get some better ones later. If you copy and paste the url (without the URL=) into the address bar and go there you can see the track better.
This is the road course

This is the road course with a line drawn on it so you can see the outline better

If you copy and paste that url into the address bar and mash the go button or the enter key it will take you to the bigger version of the pic.
