What motor and pinion are they? The stock motor on the mini-t comes with a pinion that just slides on.
Thread lock will work.

most pinions slide on and don't come out unless you use force.

My pinion is attached with a grub screw.

to remove the stock pinion from the stock mini t motor do you have to remove the slipper first?

No,
You need to take the slipper apart if you want to change the big gear (spur gear).

The stock pinion on the original mini-t should be a press on. To get it off, just use force. from there you can buy a better pinion gear with a grub screw. If you want to get the stock pinion gear back on, use thread lock.

The best mini-t pinions are made by Robinson Racing Products. They are hardened Alum. and have a grub screw.

Thread lock keeps screws from backing out after repeated use. Some are just strong enough to hold a screw in place. There are stronger types that will almost permanently seal things together, so be careful what you get. They work very well on metal to metal, like a screw going into an alum. parts. It will still work fair with plastic or graphite though.

Here is what I have.

It will surely hit 60 np. I would get a good set of bearings and some oil filled shocks....the stock shocks are friction.....and a new servo is also needed. I would recommend getting the pro version if you already have radio gear.
