it can handle a fast motor but the baja or the mini-max would be about the limit. even then your esc is gonna have a hard time.

If you want a fairly high performance motor with low matienence go with the Orion Baja.

Nope, it's a direct drop in.

I have the Baja in my Mini-T and my RC18MT is a great motor and it is super fast if you have a good battery. I enjoy it and I am thinking about putting 2 of them in my MLST. I just dropped the Insane motors in it so I will have to see how they turns out when they are finally broken in. But I do think it is a great motor and you will be happy with it in the end. I have never had any problems with the stock ESC for the Mini-T so it should be fine. It is toast the Stock ESC in my RC18MT but from what I understand they do have problems.

I thought about that a while ago, never actually tried it though.

I have a pair of Baja's just setting in my tool box just waiting to be soldered up and dropped in. My only problem is that on the RC18MT is that the tabs break off and then I have to solder it again. I have never had that problem with my Mini-T. So that is why I have left them out of the MLST but if I am not happy with the insane motors I will end up dropping them in.
