What Brushless should I get?
I'm looking at getting a brushless motor. Yeah I know there's the mambas (which everyone has) but is that the best choice? I heard that they have problems. If it's programming it, I don't have a problem. I'm looking at 6800 kv 8000 kv. I would you suggest?
P.S. (I found a 8000kv mamba w/ ESC on ebay for $107 so I don't want to spend too much more)

or go to bpp and get a quark pro-car 22amp esc and mamba motor combo for under $100 [link=http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?prod=1_Q22Mamba&PHPSESSID=1213c69ca98b0ac14fe16a94c40b1da7]here[/link] imo that is a better set up and will be easier to program on the move.

Back to the original question: It depends....
1) What vehicle is it going into?
2) What is the intended use?
3) What is the maximum amount of money you will spend on the set up?
BTW...$107 for a used 8K Mamba isn't that great of a deal. Go to www.b-p-p.com they carry the 8K Mamba set up brand new for $109.95. Might as well buy new for that price.

RE: What Brushless should I get?
Oh, I am just looking for a "no maintance" setup that is pretty quick, i will most likely be using 6 cell Nimh batteries, not sure if i will ever make the switch to lipos. I will just be bashing this car so i want it to not be so fast i cant drive it, would the 22a be a good fit??

RE: What Brushless should I get?
I would go with the CM-2080 (the 8000kv motor). Its a great motor for ni-mh, however if you plan to go li-po it may be a bit overpowered. If thats the case the 6800 would work well.

RE: What Brushless should I get?
Thats the one thats 99.99 correct?? Also would my run times go up for down with this setup, i am guessing down since the motor is more power. Right now i only have the stock pack and one Reedy VMX concept R-14. If i did get the CM-2080 would a 2 cell lipo make the car too fast to handle?? Thanks for all the help Inverted
