RE: OFFICIAL MINI-T THREAD!!!
Hey Fellas, Just got a Mini-T as a Christmas gift from the better half and looking to do some upgrades because it is a dog right out of the box. I read through alot of these pages and am trying to get some ideas. Im usually a plane guy and fly several 40% airplanes, so excuse me if I ask any dumb questions...
I was looking at this hop-up kit (dont really want to dump the dough for brushless right now): http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGTE5&P=7 Is it worth it?
Also, what other upgrades should I do, or do I NEED to do? Not looking to race or anything, just have a quick little truck to terrorize the neighborhood with. Thanks for any help you guys can provide... like I said, outfitting a 40% airplane... no problem, trying to upgrade my Mini-T, lost in the dark.... Thanks guys.

Well it is not that bad if you dont want to spend a lot... There is the baja motor and a 7cell battery but if you get a 7 cell you will need to upgrade the conectors. Deans are profered, that fit is a good start if you add a mip diff and cvds you will be pretty happy...

RE: OFFICIAL MINI-T THREAD!!!
Thanks Fellas for the feedback! I am definetly going to upgrade to Deans Ultra since I have a ton of them for my foamie airplanes and I have no way to charge the packs with the stock connectors. I also planned on getting the MIP Ball Diff since many of you recommened it, but here is the stupid question, what are the advantages of it over the stock unit (I know, I admit, I know nothing about cars)...
You mentioned a baja motor and a 7 cell pack? Where can I find info/purchase this motor and what 6 or 7 cell pack should I use that will fit in the stock location. I have a GP Triton and several other chargers so i should be able to charge any pack. I was considering going to LiPo but didnt want to do it until I upgraded the stock electronics so that I had an ESC with a voltage cutoff so i dont kill my Lipos by going under minimum voltages. Thanks again fellas, I appreciate the help!
